Commonly used automobiles for town car or sedan service are the Lincoln town car, Cadillac, Chrysler, Mercedes and some larger sized sedans. EXOTIC TOWN CAR
The Exotic Town Car, also called private car service, is found in Europe, Asia and North America. Commonly used vehicles for “exotic town car services” are Mercedes, Rolls Royce and Bentley. These vehicles are normally configured with the accoutrements you would find in a limousine; such as DVD, Internet service, wet bar, satellite radio and may even be security or bullet proofed. Chauffeurs that operate exotic town cars are the crème de la crème of professionals. Male and female chauffeurs within this chic car service may even be trained as security personnel. Exotic town car and sedan services are owned and operated by luxury hotels, security companies as well as livery services.

LUXURY SUV
Luxury SUV or sport utility vehicles have become an extremely large segment of the town car and sedan industry. Their large interiors allow for up to 7 to 8 passengers as opposed to the customary 1 to 4 of traditional town cars. There is always more luggage capacity that may be traded off for fewer passengers when using for airport or harbor transfer transportation. Many SUV’s now offer refrigerators, DVD player(s), satellite radio, climate controls and interiors more suited to a limousine. When booking a luxury SUV always discuss the type, size and amenities you desire for your trip.

EXECUTIVE VAN
Executive vans, (luxury vans) are generally equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and are ideal for transporting groups of executives across town or from one corporate venue to another. Normally an executive van will accommodate from 10 to 14 passengers. Executive vans almost always have DVD player(s) satellite radio, individual climate controls, wet bar and or refrigerator. As with all limousine type vehicles, your luxury van chauffeur will always be well versed in the transportation and tourism industries as well as understanding of your privacy. LIMOUSINE 4
Limousines suited for four people are normally 96” in overall length, and on a rare occasion slightly longer. Generally there are two opposing bench seats (see picture below). One will always be forward facing and the other rear facing. In the event you have an aversion to this type of seating we don’t recommend this size limousine. Limousines with seating capacities of four usually have fewer amenities due to a lack of available room. However, four person limousines are no less luxurious than any other limos you might find. In fact, four person limos are rather comfortable and more personal than their larger cousins. Four passenger limousines are sometimes difficult to find so be very specific when entering information on your Limo Charter Dispatch quote request.

LIMOUSINE 6 to 8
Limousines that seat six to eight persons are generally 120” and more in overall length. Stretch limousines that seat six to eight people are always perimeter seating and will have one or two mini bars, ambience lighting, mini icebox or refrigerator (see picture below). Limousines with seating capacities of six and more usually have a full array of amenities inclusive of flat screen television, DVD and stereo surround sound. However, six and eight people limos are no less well appointed than other lengthier limousines you may find. Six to eight passenger limousines are normally produced on Lincoln, Cadillac or Chrysler chassis.

LIMOUSINE 12 to 16
Named stretch limousines because of their overall length and added capacities, these are the limousines that people have come to think of as the class of the genre. Nowadays, these “stretched” vehicles are produced with amenities such as multiple perimeter wet bars, flat screens, ambience lighting, mirrored interiors, leather seating, DVD, surround sound, personal climate controls and much more. While the chassis of choice for this traditional limousine has been the Lincoln town car and Cadillac sedan, an entire newer class of stretch SUV’s that include Escalades, Navigators, Hummers, Chrysler 300’s, Ford Expeditions and more have recently taken over the 12-16 person category by younger patrons.

LIMOUSINE 18 and up
Among stretch limousines there is no other class of limousine longer than the 18 and up category. No longer able to use the smaller Lincoln and Cadillac chassis due to weight restrictions, manufacturers have upped the ante to this SUV class of extra long limo for hire. From the stylish Cadillac Escalade to the classic new generation Hummer and Chrysler (Bentley influenced) 300, these behemoth limousines carry as many as 28 people (see picture below). With every imaginable (some unimaginable) amenity available, it is best to ask your limousine service provider for availability and amenities for each specific vehicle. It is always recommended that you seat a minimum of two persons less than the capacity declared by the limousine company for comfort.

PARTY/LIMO BUS
Limousine buses are available in many sizes, styles and shapes. Limousine mini buses, limousine midsize buses, limousine motor coaches, party limousine buses and a slew of other kinds. Best known as a minibus and midsize limo bus these 28 to 35 foot vehicles are normally used for local shuttling, airport transfers, local party shuttles, bar hopping and other local limousine type transportation. Mini and midsize limousine vehicles are usually more cost efficient than larger motor coach limousine buses, especially for groups not requiring long haul or many hours of drive time. Party limousine buses from 40 to 45 feet in overall length are best suited for long haul and or many hours of travel time. These limousine coaches usually have more amenities such as bathrooms, full wet bars, surround sound stereo, kitchenettes than does their smaller minibus or midsize limousine counter parts. Be sure to specify the exact type, style and size vehicle, along with your personal needs when renting your limousine bus. Always try and view or at a minimum get pictures of the limousine type you will receiving. As always, request confirmation in writing as to the exact “size and type” you will receive.

EXECUTIVE COACH
Limousine buses are often confused with another class of vehicle referred to as executive, entertainer and or day motor coaches. This class of limo vehicle is often used in place of a limousine bus. Do not confuse the different classes of buses. Entertainer and executive buses are generally used for business or family and friend outings or travel. These limousine type buses are less formal than limousine or party buses, as they tend to be designed with a more relaxed atmosphere. Don’t let the “relaxed atmosphere” fool you however. Some of these entertainer buses can be extremely lavish with multiple rooms, bathroom and shower, wet bars and kitchenettes, bunks beds, stereo and lighting systems that would make some limousine buses ashamed. Don’t shy away from this class of vehicle simply because the word limousine is not used.
